Quality Steel
- Column, Rafter, Beam, Sub beam: Primary Build-Up Members, Minimum yield strength is 34.5kN/cm². High grade steel plate conforming to ASTM A 572M Grade 345 (Grade 50ksi). Factory painted with a minimum of 35 microns (DFT) of corrosion protection primer.
- Purlins, girts and eave strut : Purlins, girts and eave struts are available in high grade steel conforming to ASTM A 607 Grade 50 equivalent, available in 1.5mm, 1.8mm, 2.0mm and 2.5mm thickness. It is pre-galvanized finish or factory painted with a minimum of 35 microns (DFT) of corrosion protection primer.
- Roof and Wall Panels: 0.50mm thickness in ZINCALUME® steel resin coated, AZ150 minimum (150g/m²) coating mass, Grade 550 (minimum yield strength of 550 MPa) or complying with AS1397.
- Nuts & Bolts: These bolts are Hot-dip-Galvanized & conform to ASTM A 325 M Type 1 (or equivalent) (Grade 8.8).
- Fasteners: Metallic Polyester Coated, heat-treated carbon steel, conforming to AS 3566 Class 3. They are 5.5mm diameter, Hex-heat, self-drilling screws and assembled with EPDM seals.
Welding Standard
All welding performed in accordance with the American Welding Association (AWS 2004 edition). Minimum weld sizes conforms to table 5.8 AWS D1.1-2-2004
Quality Control (QC) Standard
QC criteria used in fabrication is based on Steelpac Manufacturing Standard & conforming to 9th edition of AISC and 1996 edition of MBMA.
Safely First
Steel erection activities are performed adhering to safety standards set according to Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) when they occur during and as a part of the steel erection activities.
